Coastal Wetlands, Inc. is a commercial environmental nursery specializing in the propagation and installation of emergent, submerged aquatic and woody vegetation. This includes contract based growing for mitigation, reforestation, and wetland restoration.
The propagation of native wetland plant material is a critical aspect of our operations. It has been the foundation of our restoration philosophy and has allowed our staff to focus on organisms at their most basic forms, seeing first hand the habitat they provide even in a controlled growing environment. We take pride in the cultivation of stock material that provides us with the seed that is used for propagation, much of which has been in our possession for several generations.
